VINE is the nation’s leading victim notification network. It allows survivors, victims of crime, and other concerned citizens to access timely and reliable information about offenders or criminal cases in U.S. jails and prisons.

Crime Victim Compensation Program

Victims of violent crime and family or household members of deceased victims may have significant out-of-pocket expenses through no fault of their own.  Crime Victim Compensation (CVC) helps pay for unreimbursed eligible expenses that result from the crime.

Safe At Home- Address Confidentiality Program

Safe at Home is a statewide address confidentiality program that provides victims of actual or threatened domestic abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, and trafficking, or those who simply fear for their physical safety with a legal substitute address to be used for both public and private purposes.

Victim and Witness Rights

The Victim Resource Center (VRC) is a team of individuals housed in the WI Department of Justice, Office of Crime Victim Services. They specialize in assisting victims of crime with information, referrals, and questions regarding their crime victim and witness rights.

WI SAFE Fund

Can reimburse health care providers for the cost of a forensic medical exam for victims of sexual assault.
